Black Friday Is less than 24 hours away and here at The Lost Meander we want to give you some of the best gear for the holidays. Here is the top 10 list for some of my favorite gear. I have personally used all of it and love. From fishing, hiking, hunting, and camping this gear will take your outdoor abilities to the next level. OK maybe not the next level cause you have to work for that. Lets just say it will help you on your way!
- Waterproof and tough the Merrell Moab is a great boot to take a hike in. Even after a long hike my feet feel great!
- Some times you need some socks that are up to the challenge and these were recommended to me, so I tried them and loved them. Darn Tough Merino wools socks are up to any challenge.
- Two Words: Badlands Diablo. This backpack is built to last for any hunter. There are so many things I could say about this pack, but here is my favorite: Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee. Check this thing out!
- Need a midseason hoodie than look no further than the Badlands Flex Half Zip Hoodie. Talk about warm, this thing is perfect under midseason or late season jacket. Extremely comfortable and like the backpack, Badlands has an Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee.
- I spend over 100 days on the water every year my go to sunglasses are Costa. Fashionable, lightweight and worth every penny. Make sure you check out the different lens color to fit your activity!
- I only use 1 knife when I am field dressing a deer and that knife is a Havalon. Besides being razor sharp it has replacement blades. A great fit in your hand and the price is even better for such a good product.
- There is nothing worse than getting caught outside on a hike and realizing you aren’t going to make it back before dark. I always keep it simple by packing a Headlamp. The Headlamp rechargeable 2 pack is simple, extremely bright and will never leave you in the dark.
- Time to cover your dome and I can’t think of a better hat for those cold winter days than the Under Armour Men’s Halftime Ribbed Beanie. Warm yes, comfortable yes, a great price and worth the money…. Absolutely!
- Last year I spent 180 days on the river fly fishing and there is only 1 pack I used. Durable, spacious and worth every dollar the Orvis Fly Fishing Sling Pack is the way to go. This a great gift for any fly fisherman looking for a pack that is simple and effective.
- When I think about camping I think about resting and taking a good nap. My favorite place to do it is on a hammock. Small, compact and comfortable the Kootek Camping Hammock is an awesome choice!
As a bonus I needed to add one more. The Yeti Hopper Flip 12 is a great cooler for those small trips. Drinks, snacks and sandwiches fit perfect in here.
No matter your experience level we hope these gifts help you get outside more and Get Lost!
